Sundance

Joe's office had their company picnic up at Sundance this year! We have never been up there before, sad I know. It was amazingly beautiful and I really want to go back up and do some adventuring around before the snow comes this fall. Maybe do some fun family pictures. That is if I can have coroperation from a certian child of our, the pictures below are a good example of her mood swings.

I made Joe take this picture of me, I need to remember to take off name tags before pictures!

Liechty cousins

Here are a few of the cousins. This was the first time that we have met Jessica, whom resides in Georgia (Jessica is the one in the bottom center)she was here for a band camp at BYU. They all look eerily similar, if only sam and Rosalind had their glasses on too. It was fun meeting Jessica and playing games with the family.

Yay! Nana!

Well Nana could stay very long this time but we love seeing her! I don't think Rosalind stopped talking the whole time she as here. Love you Nana, wish we could see you all of the time!

Saturday was the big recital! This year was Cinderella. Rosalind's class were the palace maids and all very cute. Here are some pictures on the way to and after the performance. We are so proud of the Rose!

Maybe the ducks aren't that little, compared to Rosalind! We had Nana (my mom) in town this weekend. So we decided to go down to Gardener Village, and Rosalind wanted to feed the ducks so we took some leftover rolls and had fun feeding the ducks and fish in the pond. It was a beautiful day, it rained off and on all day(actually all week) I love the rain! Nana and I got some fun photos of Rosalind.

swim lessons 2009 week 1

Just before school was out this year I found out from a friend of ours that her mom gives swim lessons at her house. Last year swim with half of the kids in Lehi in the pool at the same time was a bit distracting for miss Rosalind.

Despite her fears Rosalind got in and really tried! I think it help that she already knew her teacher as our friends mom. It was also nice that she and only one other kid were in this class!

By the end of the week she was swimming with a little assistance. Not holding her nose when going under water, and floating much better! These are huge improvements in 4 days time!
We have on more session scheduled for this month and possible a few more this summer!

Here is my big girl off to her last day of kindergarten! She was sad because she didn't finish the picture she was making for her teacher. But I told her we could mail it to her.
