Rosalinds art!

Here is a sampling of the Rose's art.
I was cleaning out the closet under the stairs where we keep her artsy stuff. And threw away a bunch of notebooks and things, i have started to take pictures of these things so I don't have to keep a million pieces of paper.
Enjoy the art, I personally love the cat head monsters.

Mr. & Mrs. Carroll!

Most of us knew that Heather and Stetson would get married when we where at Thanksgiving, and Heather would get that smitten look on her face when anyone would ask about him. Well that and they were on the phone most night well past the time everyone else was in bed and asleep. So we knew it was just a matter of time before he asked her.
I helped out with some on the planning, they got married here but Heathers family is in GA, and Stetson's is in NV. So one really hectic weekends Karen came out and we did lots of stuff, with Donna and Beth(Beth did way more to help than me) as well. It was fun and crazy, Utah is the land of short engagements after all. So the big day came and here are some of the pictures I took.
The day was really nice, but cold. Really we all should have known it would be.

After the sealing there was a luncheon at Gardner Village.
While we waited I went to the quilt shoppe and Joe let Rosalind take pictures outside.

The food was nice, and the location was lovely. These pictures were also taken by Rosalind, I told her to get a picture of all the aunts and uncles. The only ones she missed were the parents of the bride. She would have gotten that too but she accidentally erased the memory card and we couldn't take anymore for fear of Joe not being able to recover the pictures.
Being married to a geek is nice.

Hey Heather and Stetson! WE LOVE YOU!

Heather & Zach's Temple day

Oh Zach and Heather!
We what can I say about these two? They are almost the same person, so it makes sense that they went to the Temple for the first time together. Zach was going because of going on a mission, and Heather was getting married the next day in the Temple.
The love their Aunt Kate!

Bride and Groom(Stetson) and Zach
I am not sure you are supposed to have so much fun at the temple, though if they didn't something would be wrong. It was a lovely day despite the silliness.
Love you guys!

Corbin/ Iron Man's birthday

So this is sweet Corbin's Birthday party in the park. I wish I had known it was a super hero theme, our gift would have been different. But every 5 year old boy need clothes.

Last days of first grade

Picking the Rose up from school!
These are from a class play they did about Tacky the Penguin.
She wanted pictures with her friends and teacher.

Dance Festival

Last day of school pick up. After that we went and got Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Maybe that should be a tradition on the last day of school.

Elder Zach Liechty

Well he is gone, actually just about 15 minutes away right now down in the MTC. So this is one of Rosalinds favorite cousins, Zach and he is going to the Berlin German mission. Rosalind is very sad ans misses him like crazy, but missions on last 2 years. When we have family prayer at night she always pray for him, Jeffery(who is in Canada), and Kory who is leaving soon on a mission as well. These pictures are from his farewell, we hung out afterward with the family. Zach we will miss you but you ROCK! and will be a good missionary.

The new Hat!

Rosalind and I were out shopping and getting tickets to the Last Air bender for the next day and I decided to go into Gymboree to see what was on sale. Well we found this hat in the clearance section, it was between this and another hat and it actually took Rose about 30 mins. to decide, but this one won. After sending pictures of her in both to Joe. If you have seen her lately you have most likely seen the hat, she loves it. And I think she looks dang cute in it, but I am a little biased.

Piano girl!

Rosalind has started Piano lessons with Aunt Beth. The first few weeks were had trying to get her to practice, but now she like to do it since she is starting to learn some songs. She can play Mary had a little lamb, and part of Ode to Joy. Thanks Donna and Don for letting us use the keyboard.

The Fourth of July

This fourth of July we went up to Evanston, WY, and it wasn't just for the fireworks. Joe's nephew Chad blessed their 5th child, Ryker(he is in the picture with Rosalind bottom middle. It was fun to go up and visit with the Liechty's. After that we headed over to Erin and Dave's house for more food and to watch the insanity that is Evanston on the fourth. It was great. I don think we can pass up going up there for that holiday ever again. Fireworks will never be the same!

Check out the cuteness of some of the great nieces and nephews, oh and Miss Rose.
